1995-1960

Our journey began in the late 1950s, between 1955 and 1960, when we established our very first office at 1 Victoria Street, Burnham-on-Sea. It was here that the foundation of our business was laid, serving as the starting point for what would become a longstanding presence in the community.

This modest yet pivotal location marked the beginning of our commit- ment to providing exceptional service and building strong relationships that continue to define us today.

The new corner location provided us with increased visibility and accessibility, helping us reach a wider audience and solidify our presence in the community. This period marked an exciting chap- ter in our story, as we embraced new opportunities to grow while staying rooted in our commitment to excellence and service.

1965-1970

From 1965 to 1970, just a few years into our journey, we made a sig- nificant move to our current premises at 18 College Street, Burn- ham-on-Sea. This relocation marked a major milestone in our growth, providing us with a larger, more prominent space to serve our clients and expand our operations.

The move symbolised our progression as a business, reflecting our increasing reputation and commitment to the community. Over the years, 18 College Street has become synonymous with our name—a cornerstone of our identity and a trusted location where countless clients have been welcomed and served.

1994

Around 1994, we took another significant step in our growth by ex- panding into the corner shop on Victoria Street, a space that was previously known as a charming China shop. This expansion was not just about acquiring additional space; it represented our ambi- tion to better serve our clients and adapt to the evolving needs of our business.

2019

In 2019, we embarked on a transformative rebranding journey that not only refreshed our look but also redefined how we connect with our clients and the community. This rebranding effort was a thoughtful process, aimed at honouring our rich history while em- bracing a modern identity that reflects the evolving nature of our business. Every element, from our updated logo and signage to our enhanced online presence, was carefully designed to communicate our values of professionalism, trust, and innovation.

This transformation was more than just cosmetic; it represented a renewed commitment to excellence, ensuring that we remained relevant and competitive in an ever-changing industry. Today, our rebranded identity is a source of pride, serving as a visible remind- er of our journey, our growth, and our dedication to serving our cli- ents with the same passion and care that has defined us for de- cades.

2025

A fresh look, same Abbott & Frost. In 2025 we reinstated our historic name and refreshed the red, white and black signage—cleaner, brighter, proudly local. We’ve been part of Burnham-on-Sea since 1949, helping generations move across Burnham, Highbridge, Brent Knoll, Mark and nearby villages.
